D E S C R I P T I O N S
This class offers the opportunity to study the purest form of traditional Haitian dance while getting an intense workout. The students are encouraged to recognize rhythms and match the correct dances with them. Live music accompaniment by master drummer John Amira.
Learn Traditional Afro Cuban folkloric dance from Gilset Mora. He will teach the students in the "Dances of the Orishas." Classes will start from beginner slower paced Dances to the more advanced Faster rhythm movements as the class goes on. The room will vibrate with 3 to 4 bata drums and Traditional Songs being sang throughout the class Every week
Classes with Mastre Zumbi begin with stretching and warmup followed by instruction in capoeira sequences and technique. Classes often end with a capoeira circle or roda where the participants will play capoeira games and learn the music of capoeira.
BRAZILIAN JU JITSU &
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts program offers classes in grappling, wrestling, kickboxing, boxing, and full-range fighting.
KRAV MAGA - SELF DEFENSE
Israeli martial art, Krav Maga is often regarded as the world's most effective hand-to-hand fighting system and is used by military and police forces in many different countries. Combining some of the best elements of other martial art styles, Krav Maga teaches combat techniques that can be used in real situations and all participants learn to defend themselves against grabs, strikes, chokes and a range of weapons.
