BALLET FOR BABY BOOMERS & BEYOND ("B4BB&B") is designed for people over 50. However it benefits, challenges, and inspires people of any age.  


The exercises are standard ballet drills that anyone with a basic understanding of movement can achieve. We begin the class with the exercises at the barre, followed by individual stretching. We come back together to do center work away from the barre which may include shifting weight exercises, practicing turns, quick foot work, and finally movement across the floor. In deference to our participants I do not include prolonged or big jump combinations, but occasionally small jumps (glissade & assemble).


Non-dancers (runners, gymnasts, and swimmers), social party people, as well as former and current professional dancers, and teachers of dance are Welcome to attend classes; however, anyone 40 years old or younger must be a guest of someone older.
